Background

Monit Road is a specialist manufacturer of vehicular mounted distance measurement instruments (DMI) based in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. From our local facilities we design and build all of our products and export them throughout the world, also producing motorsport equipment under the Monit Rally Computer brand.

New Zealand has one of the most diverse road networks in the World. From the narrow gravel back country tracks in the damp and cold conditions of a deep South Island winter, to the wide smooth motorways and sub-tropical summers of the North Island, products that survive here must be built tough.
